The Spanish brand SPC (Smart Products Connection) was born in Álava in 1987, when the government liberalized the telecommunications market. At that time Telecom and Novatecno were created with the brand SPC Telecom, the specialist in communication terminals. It offered a wide catalog of phones for home and office, fixed and wireless phones.

The company started its activity in the office and home telephony sector. Since its origins, it has been the leading national brand, supplier of all telephony operators in Spain. Since 2005, it has launched different ranges of telephony, both for people with hearing or visual limitations, as well as the ONCE speaker phonelike for older people.

At present, SPC remains the benchmark in communications, both fixed and mobile, with products that seek to ensure the connectivity of all users; also those of the most advanced age. One example is the launch of a range of older mobile phones in 2018, with which SPC became the first national telephone company for these users.
