Apple continues to refine its Super Retina XDR OLED technology, but in this generation it widens the differences between models:
• iPhone 17: 6.1-inch display with 2532 x 1170 px resolution, standard 60 Hz refresh rate and maximum brightness of 1,600 nits in HDR.
• iPhone 17 Pro: 6.3-inch ProMotion display with adaptive 120 Hz, HDR10 and Always-On Display technology.
• iPhone 17 Pro Max: 6.9-inch panel, 2796 x 1290 px resolution, and the highest pixel density in the series (460 ppi).
The level of sharpness, contrast and touch response is impeccable, especially in the Pro versions, which take advantage of LTPO 2.0 technology to adjust the refresh rate according to the type of content, significantly reducing energy consumption. In addition, all three models feature Ceramic Shield protection, manufactured by Corning, which increases resistance to drops and minor impacts.
